Happy experimenting! Photography is so much fun, but the technicalities completely elude me! I have a nice point-and-shoot digital, but I can set it to fully automatic, fully manual, or variations in between. I recently discovered that I can actually purchase different lenses for it as well, so maybe someday I'll try to learn a little more! I have to say, the telephoto shot is my preference here!!
